Our political education campaign #KnowAlamedaCounty provides background information on the stakeholders who determine the fate of people who are impacted by the county's criminal legal system. When we educate ourselves about the system and its players, we lay the foundation for stronger community advocacy, engagement, and empowerment. We want to get Alameda County residents excited to make a difference and for them to make decisions based on adequate knowledge of government regulations. Our goal is to empower people, particularly youth, to get involved and be aware of the positive changes they can incite within their communities.
